Admin
Every currently supported public developer scope, limited to selected projects.
Install one portable skill, grant a Developer API Key to one or more projects, and let developers diagnose, configure, and verify Boost Connect QBD from Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and other compatible agents.
Choose Admin or Custom scopes, then assign exact projects.
Check API identity, connection ownership, Web Connector, and QuickBooks separately.
Machine-readable JSON, stdin secrets, and CI environment support.
Four Steps
The skill is instructions; the CLI is the execution layer; the Developer API Key is the permission boundary. It is not a portal JWT.
The installer writes the skill to .agents/skills at project scope for compatible agents.
npx --yes skills@1.5.16 add 'https://github.com/BoostPlugins/boost-connect-qbd-skill/tree/v0.1.2/skills/boost-connect-qbd' --agent universal --copy -yAn account owner selects Admin or Custom scopes, assigns one or more projects, chooses expiry, and copies the one-time secret. The key is not a portal JWT.
Keep the token out of chat history and shell arguments. The CLI stores it in a private local credential file.
printf '%s' "$BOOST_CONNECT_QBD_TOKEN" | node .agents/skills/boost-connect-qbd/scripts/boost-connect-qbd.mjs auth login --token-stdinList an assigned connection, then use Admin or Custom diagnostics:read and qbd:read scopes to verify identity, Web Connector health, and a live read-only QuickBooks CompanyQuery.
node .agents/skills/boost-connect-qbd/scripts/boost-connect-qbd.mjs doctor --connection-id <connection-id> --verify-qbdEvery currently supported public developer scope, limited to selected projects.
Only explicitly selected scopes, for CI jobs and least-privilege integrations.
One key can cover several current projects. New projects require explicit assignment.
